Ready for a brutal leg workout? Well you better beready if you are going to attempt this one! If you are following the 10 Week Size and Strength Trainer, we are one day 38, and this one is a very tough, exhausting volume workout.
After warming up with some light cardio, stretching and pre-exhausting your legs with leg extensions, you will be supersetting squats and sissy squats. Some people wonder what the F*#* a sissy squat is. Well truthfully I have always heard of them, but never knew exactly what they were. That is until my gym got one in. Look at the picture at the top. The sissy squat holds your legs in place, so you can perform a perfect body-weight squat. This is an ideal exercise to superset with. You will already be tired from the high volume of standard squats, so doing 10 slow, controlled sissy squats will get you that much more pumped.
If you aren’t staggering around like a drunk bastard after this workout, then you are not pushing yourself enough! It’s time to get it done, so give it your 110% and grow, sculpt and strengthen those legs!
